Job Description: We are looking for an internationally renowned, outstanding candidate to establish a research program in the field of optical quantum systems with application focus. The application focus should be on at least one, preferably several, of the following areas:
– Novel materials and technologies for optical quantum systems, preferably solid-state-based
– Components (quantum emitters, quantum repeaters, quantum detectors) for quantum-based transmission technology
– Quantum-based transmission
