Eija Tuominen is team leader of Quantum Sensors at VTT Microelectronics and Quantum Technologies in Finland. In addition, she adjunct professor in the instrumentation of particle physics at the University of Helsinki. She is also a member of the CERN CMS collaboration. She has doctoral degree in microelectronics and master’s degree in nuclear and energy technology from the Helsinki University of Technology. Her specialties are sensors, semiconductor devices, nanofabrication, and quantum technologies.

She has strong expertise in international networking, evaluation panels, peer- review activities, project leadership, and supervision of students and post-doc researchers.
