EPWS participated in the 2024 annual conference of COST Action VOICES at the Mediterranean University of Albania in Tirana, 15-17 February 2024
From 13 to 17 February 2024, the Mediterranean University of Albania in Tirana hosted the COST Action VOICES (Making Young Researchers’ Voices Heard for Gender Equality) 2024 annual conference focusing the prevention of gender-based violence in Higher Education. This conference was organized by the Working Group 4 – “Sexual Harassment, Gender-Based Violence and Institutional Culture” of this COST Action.
EPWS was represented by its President Lucia Martinelli (member of the VOICES Management Committee), who presented the talk “The role of museums and exhibitions in combating sexual harassment by fostering a culture of respect, awareness, and accountability”; its Vice President Colette Guillopé (EPWS representative in VOICES, member of the Management Committee and Grant Awarding Co-Coordinator) and its Board of Administration member Dalia Šatkovskienė (member of the Management Committee and Grant Awarding Coordinator of VOICES). Moreover, the organization, achievements and future planes of the COST Action VOICES were discussed at the meetings of the Management Committee, the Core Group, and the Working Groups meeting.
