On 24 November 2025, the President of EPWS, Lucia Martinelli, took part in the webinar “Intelligences and Talents of Women Scientists: Heritage and Future of Women in Science”, organised by the Association Donne e Scienza within the framework of the 8th edition of “Eredità delle Donne” (Women’s Heritage).

“Eredità delle Donne” is a major festival dedicated to women’s empowerment, aimed at highlighting the role women have played —and continue to play— in shaping knowledge, culture, science and society. The 2025 edition, celebrated the value, vision and necessity of female intelligences across generations and disciplines.

During the Donne e Scienza webinar, participants discussed how women scientists have transformed research languages, practices and policies. Lucia Martinelli presented EPWS activities and shared key outcomes from the EPWS Annual Conference held on 20–21 November 2025 in Brussels. The event also featured contributions from Sveva Avveduto (President of Donne e Scienza), Silvana Badaloni, and Mirella Orsi.
