Dr. Katalin Balázsi, EPWS Board member, awarded by Acta Materialia

Dr. Katalin Balázsi, is the recipient of the 2021 Acta Materialia Mary Fortune Global Diversity Medal.

Dr. Balázsi is head of Thin Film Physics Department of Institute of Technical Physics and Materials Science, Centre for Energy Research of Eötvös Loránd Research Network, Hungary. She is also the President of the Association of Hungarian Women in Science (NATE) and board member of the European Platform of Women Scientists, EPWS.
