Learn more about gender equality facts and statistics, and exchange best practices on how to promote women’s empowerment on www.wikigender.org!
Wikigender is an interactive platform to share and discuss information on gender equality. Wikis allow users to easily create, edit and link web pages.
Launched in 2008, Wikigender aims to become the worldwide reference point for research and statistics on gender equality, as well as a discussion forum for practitioners to exchange best practices. As Wikigender evolves, the content of the site should reflect the broad range of research and analysis undertaken at the international, national and local levels.
We are also looking for other organisations to contribute to Wikigender and welcome new partners to the project. Our aim is to build an active community that regularly uses and updates this online resource.
We look forward to welcoming you on www.wikigender.org and hope that this project will offer an interesting new way of exchanging and sharing experiences and knowledge on gender equality.”
