At the general assembly in Naples, 24-25 October 2023, The Gender Equality Network in Physics in the European Research Area (GENERA) elected the new board: Tomas Brage (Lund University, Sweden) as Chair and Maria Rosaria Masullo (INFN, Italy) as Deputy Chair. Main topics of the assembly were the history of the GENERA association with a particular focus on some projects realised by the members, such as GRECO, GenderTIME and Bringing to Light, the 2030 Agenda for Girls and Boys. Mirella Orsi (an EPWS alternate board member and vice president of Donne e Scienza, the Italian association affiliated to EPWS) participated as a keynote speaker.

She presented the main activities of Donne e Scienza, including its cooperation with EPWS, and of the Women20- G20 Engagement Group. Presenting EPWS, she underlined the role of networking among women’s associations in strengthening visibility and supporting women scientists. Among the participants, also Dalia Šatkovskienė (a member of the EPWS Board of Administration, and president of BASNET Forumas, the Lithuania association affiliated to EPWS).
