“The Directorate-General for Research has released its 2008 Annual Activity Report, covering its research and technological development activities in 2007. Accompanying this report is a set of documents and guides that will help readers review this extensive report.

The report covers achievements and developments in research policy and practices in the European Union. It also includes a review of the implementation of the Framework Programmes, including that of the 7th Framework Programme (FP7). FP7 completed its first year of implementation in 2007.

A Commission Staff Working Document, which will provide more detailed reporting and statistics, is also available online.”
