PhD positions available in cancer and metastasis – Evomet ITN projects

The Evomet Consortium invites young researchers willing to undertake a PhD in cancer and metastasis research to apply for one of the positions on offer.

Evomet is offering generous three-year fellowships starting in the 2021-2022 academic year and funded by the ITN- Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions call of the European Commission. We are now looking for 15 highly motivated Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) to work towards their PhDs in one of the research projects on offer.

Evomet leverages basic research on the evolution of metastatic cancers to impact drug development and the clinical standard of care.

Evomet is an Innovative Training Network which aims at unraveling how metastases work. It uses a multidisciplinary array of training initiatives and techniques that integrate cutting-edge genomic, single-cell omics, and in vivo validation strategies. Evomet’s function-centric approach to studying the metastasis process can potentially change how cancer metastasis is understood and reveal actionable therapeutic targets.
