Innovative Training Network: PhD grants in Quantum electronics

QuESTech is a European Training Project, funded by the European commission (Horizon 2020, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, Innovative Training Network). We are training young researchers to obtain a PhD and prepare them for a successful career.
QuESTech is a consortium of 7 leading European research laboratories and 2 high-tech companies. Supported by the European Community, QuESTech will provide a challenging, state-of-the-art training for young researchers in the general field of experimental, applied, and theoretical quantum electronics. The main scientific topics include spintronics, molecular electronics, single electronics, transport in low-dimensional structures, and quantum thermodynamics.

The main topics include molecular electronics, single electronics, quantum thermodynamics, spintronics and transport in low-dimensional structures.

You will get an all-round training in one of the participating universities (Grenoble, Leeds, Göteborg, Konstanz, Zürich, San Sebastian, Helsinki) & companies (Raith Dortmund, Graphenea San Sebastian).

You will enroll into a regular PhD program, participate in one ESONN session and undertake a secondment in a complementary sector. You will receive training in scientific presentation, writing, communication, and entrepreneurial skills to be fully prepared for a successful scientific career.

The contract is for 36 months, the salary attractive.
