On 1 October 2008, Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell began a 2 year term as President of IOP, the mother organisation of EPWS full member organisation Women in Physics.
Prof. Bell Burnell is a visiting professor at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow
at Mansfield College, Oxford. She has filled a wide range of teaching, research and managerial
roles in her career.
