Created in 2006, the Association aims to raise public debate about the position of women researchers, promote women researchers in the scientific community, improve their socio-economic position, enhance co-operation among women researchers, advance gender equality in the universities and research institutes, advance the visibility and acceptability of research areas and fields favoured by women researchers, advance critical gender research and evaluate critically the gendered impact of science policy.
