BAUW is a non-governmental organisation of women with higher education in any field of science, engineering, the humanities and social sciences, irrespective of their present occupation or employment status. The main activities are currently concentrated on teaching courses in the general interdisciplinary area of gender/women’s studies, research and publishing and awareness-raising of the general public.
