//Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation

The Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation (TETALAP) is a non-profit public foundation established by the Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs in 1994. Its mission is to develop the international relations of the Hungarian R&D community, to participate in Hungary’s EU integration efforts by promoting activities in the field of science and technology and to facilitate the access of interested Hungarian parties to EU R&D funding. TETALAP has taken part in 24 FP6 projects, in five of which as coordinator (Enwise Ethics Workshop, TrainNet Future, Hungary for FP6, WS DEBATE, UNICAFE). Most of the projects have been support actions running in the life sciences and social sciences area. TETALAP is strongly involved in women and science issues and several of its coordinated projects are targeted at this field.
