“Stocktaking and Prospects: Doctoral Training and Research –
the Link between European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area”
11-15 March 2010, Vienna, Austria
“The annual conference of Eurodoc, the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers, provides a unique framework for young researchers to meet with European political and economical leaders and to engage in fruitful discussions on the construction of the European Research and Higher Education Areas.
Eurodoc 2010 will be embedded in a series of high level events around the Bologna-Process Ministerial Summit. In this context, Eurodoc proposes a review of the reforms in higher education and research policy five years after the proclamation of the groundbreaking “Salzburg conclusions” on doctoral programmes.
100-150 young researchers and policy makers from more than 32 European countries will come to Vienna to work on a set of recommendations for the future of research training beyond 2010.”
