The EPWS Annual Conference 2019 “Alone is not enough. Shared challenges, joint achievements, mutual dialogue for future actions in the fields of Gender Equality and the Gender Dimension in EU Research and Innovation” will take place on 25 September 2019 in Brussels at the Museum of Natural Sciences – Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences.

The conference will situate EPWS and its role in the overall structure of European science and equality policy today, including striking achievements in European research and innovation policy that enable women scientists to participate on an equal footing.

The guiding questions include:

Where would we stand with regard to gender equality and the gender dimension in research and innovation without the concerted action of EU policy and an international network of networks representing the needs and aspirations of women scientists in this context? What is the impact of these efforts on the situation in EU member states?
