Since the summer of 2023, Eija Tuominen ( EPWS Board of Administration) is the new chairperson of the Helsinki Association of Women Researchers, HELWOR. The association strives to raise public discussion about gender equality in science and to improve the position of women researchers in the academia. For this aim, the association organizes seminars and events, collects information about women researchers, and participates actively in the public discussion about diversity in science.
