The conference, mainly in presence, focused on the themes “Women, Research and Transformations“. In the first session about the new research policies, the Keynote lecture (in video) by Marcela Linkova (former Chair of the ERAC Standing Group on Gender in Research and Innovation) analyzed the European policies for empowering the women scientists. The second session, dedicated to the gendered innovation, discussed the gender dimensions in the science contents and in some projects already developed. In the third session, focused on the importance of networking, EPWS was represented by its President Lucia Martinelli, who in the keynote lecture “EPWS: the Association of Associations” underlined the important role of EPWS as an umbrella organization (Program. https://donnescienza2022.nano.cnr.it/)
During the general meeting, the new board of “Donne e Scienza”, was elected, which will serve for the three-year mandate 2022-2024. Among the 9 members, Lucia Martinelli and Sveva Avveduto were re-elected as member and president, respectively.
