CIVIS3i is the CIVIS Alliance Programme for International, Interdisciplinary and Intersectoral Research and Training for Experienced Researchers. CIVIS3i is coordinated by Aix Marseille University and gathers four recruiting universities (Aix Marseille University, France; Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium; Sapienza Universitat di Roma, Italy, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Spain), six other universities belonging to the European University CIVIS and 24 non-academic partners. CIVIS3i supports innovative research projects through individual postdoctoral fellowships.

CIVIS3i announces the opening of the Second Call for 16 postdoctoral fellowships on 27 July 2022 (Deadline for submission of proposals: October 27, 2022).
CIVIS3i fellowships are awarded through a highly competitive, strictly merit-based selection process, and are awarded to talented individuals with challenging and innovative research projects of top academic quality.

Applications are invited from academics of all nationalities and all disciplines. CIVIS3i is particularly interested in applications from female candidates for the second call of postdoctoral fellowships and therefore, strongly encourages women to apply. Note, however, that applicants may not have resided or have carried out their main activity in the recruiting country for more than a total of 12 months during the 3-year period prior to the application deadline.
